BOOKING POLICY

Welcome to Elysian Pilates and Barre! Please read our booking policy carefully to ensure a smooth and respectful experience for everyone.

Class Bookings

All classes must be booked in advance via our website, app, or in person.
Class sizes are limited; early booking is recommended.

Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancel at least 24 hours before a group class to avoid losing the session or incurring a late cancellation charge.
Private and duet sessions require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Late cancellations (within 12 hours) will result in loss of your class credit.
No-shows forfeit the session.
Refunds are not issued for missed sessions.

Cooling-Off Period (Online Bookings)

For online purchases of class packages or memberships, you have a 14-day right to cancel for a full refund, provided you have not attended any class or session.
Once you attend your first session, this right is waived.

Waitlist

Join the waitlist if a class is full.
You will be notified by email or text if a spot opens.
If added less than 12 hours before class, late cancellation policy applies.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class starts.
Entry is not permitted more than 10 minutes after start time and may be marked as a no-show.

Studio Etiquette

Grip socks are mandatory.
Mobile phones must be silenced.
Respectful behaviour is expected at all times.

Health & Safety

Inform your instructor of any injuries, health conditions, or pregnancy prior to class.
Do not attend if unwell or symptomatic of contagious illness.
Equipment is sanitised regularly for your safety.

Payments & Packages

All classes and sessions must be prepaid.
Packages and memberships are non-transferable.
Packages have expiry dates specified at purchase; extensions are discretionary.

Studio Closures

You will be notified of any emergency or weather-related closures.
Credit will be applied for cancelled classes.

Photo & Video Consent

From time to time, Elysian Pilates and Barre may take photographs or video recordings during classes, events, or studio activities for use in promotional and marketing materials. These may include, but are not limited to, our website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and printed materials.

By attending classes, sessions, or events at the studio, you acknowledge and agree that:

You may appear in photos or videos taken in the studio environment.
These images may be used by Elysian Pilates and Barre for marketing and promotional purposes, without compensation.
We are committed to using respectful and appropriate content that positively reflects our community and studio atmosphere.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please speak to the instructor or a member of staff before the class or event. We will do our best to ensure your privacy is respected.

Your comfort and privacy are important to us, and we are always happy to accommodate reasonable requests where possible.

Liability Waiver

By attending classes, private sessions, workshops, or events at Elysian Pilates and Barre, you confirm and agree to the following:

I understand that participation in Pilates, barre, and other physical fitness activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strain, injury, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions.
I confirm that I am in good physical health and fit to participate in exercise. Where appropriate, I have consulted my GP or healthcare provider before beginning any new physical activity.
I will inform the instructor of any injuries, physical limitations, or health conditions (including pregnancy) before the class begins.
I acknowledge that instructors at Elysian Pilates and Barre are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose, prevent, or treat any medical condition.
If the participant is under 18, I confirm that I am their parent or legal guardian and consent to their participation under the above terms.
I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation in any class, session, or use of studio equipment or facilities.
I hereby release, waive, and discharge Elysian Pilates and Barre, its owners, instructors, contractors, and staff from all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with my participation in any activity at the studio, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Agreement

By booking or attending a class at Elysian Pilates and Barre, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to this Booking Policy, including the Photo Consent and Liability Waiver, as well as our full Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
